Great season boys! BMS Athletics 27 FMS Football 18

The boys golf team wrapped up the season with a 2nd place finish in the WMAA Tournament. Jude Odom and Henry Rackley finished 2nd and 4th in the individual competition. James Zeller and Knox Lewis played well to help overtake Woodland for 2nd place. Great season Stars!

Mrs. Koerpel, Mrs. Bishop, and Mrs. Curtis presented at the 2024 TASL (TN Association of School Librarians) conference in Murfreesboro yesterday. They covered topics like Battle of the Books, All-in Reads, Quarterly Reading Challenges, WeeMac Readers & District Literacy Night

How cool is it that all of our kids got the opportunity to read a Dusti Bowling 🌵 book and have her visit Freedom Middle ?!?! Some will even get to have lunch or do a writer’s workshop with her! Thanks Franklin Special District and FMS PTO for supporting opportunities like this!

After FSD 5th-8th grade students participated in an all-school book read of “Insignificant Events in the Life of a Cactus” 🌵 by Dusti Bowling 🌵, the author spent two days in our district meeting with students and parents! What an incredible literary experience!
