Had a fantastic visit to see the QAIC North Team, at Inskip, today. A super facility and it was wonderful to see the positive interaction between the QAI students and the staff - many of whom are QAIC graduates! Thank you to all the Volunteers for making the magic happen!

Great to spend some time with 646 VGS at RAF Topcliffe. Despite having to dodge the showers, they managed to ensure that 11 Air Cadets were safely launched skywards, and some required Staff Continuation Training was achieved. Many thanks for your efforts.

Huge congratulations to the Qualified Aerospace Instructors' Course (QAIC 16) Graduates, who completed their training today! We owe a huge debt to OC QAIC, and his team of dedicated Volunteers (including previous QAIs). Many thanks to AM Sturley, and guests, for supporting.

Had a super afternoon with 615 VGS at RAF Kenley. A 'bouncy' wind today, but they managed to fly all the GIFs (8) and progress a number of Gliding Scholarships. Many thanks to OC 615 and the rest of the team for their dedication to Air Cadet Gliding.

Day 1 of the National Air & Space Camp! Welcome to the 280+ air cadets, and amazing staff to RAF Syerston. I am sure you will all have a brilliant week. Lots of exciting activities planned. Keeping our fingers crossed that the weather will be kind and that everyone gets gliding.

PS. Looked in the lego indoor drones activity. Not the best pictures, but they did manage to get some self-built lego drones airborne. Well done!

It was a pleasure to present Wg Cdr Sam Bennett (OC Eng Wg, Chief Air Engineer to the DDH, and MilCAM for 2 FTS) with a clasp to his Long Service & Good Conduct Medal, this morning. Many congratulations, Sam! Thank you for your service.

An enjoyable visit to 632 VGS this morning. It was wonderful to see the team in such good form. I was also delighted to be able to present Sgt Harriet Simmonds with an Air Safety Commendation for not turning a drama into a crisis! Good luck on the rest of your G1 training.
