I am excited for our event this Thursday, where I will be a panelist in the afternoon session, discussing participation in research! I look forward to chatting with attendees! Didn’t get a chance to register? We will be recording the event to post online afterwards!

A few months ago, I got to chat to Josh Luke Davis 🏳️‍🌈 about two topics very dear to my heart: Africa and palaeontology. 🌍🦕 Thank you Josh and Nizar Ibrahim, PhD for highlighting some of the work from South Africa, and the rest of the continent. 💚⛏️🇿🇦 nhm.ac.uk/discover/a-his…

It's #FossilFriday! This week, we had Postdoctoral Fellow Ryuji Takasaki from U of T Palaeontology visiting our Paleontology Collections and Galleries comparing Hadrosaur dinosaurs from North America. He measured, photographed, and surface scanned our Gryposaurus monumentensis skull.

Happy #FossilFriday! Duckbilled #dinosaurs were diverse #Cretaceous plant-eaters. Recently, Dr. Ryuji Takasaki visited from U of T Palaeontology to study duckbills, including #Brachylophosaurus. This dinosaur’s name translates to “short-crested lizard” for the small crest on its head.

From the cover of Field Fashion to the cover of JVP, where will Gary the Edmontosaur’s meteoric rise take them next? #science #dinosaur

Do we know what dinosaurs looked like? It’s a complicated answer! Major thanks to the CBC Docs crew and Anthony and Sarika for having me on, such a cool experience! youtu.be/BNHAIxXULEo?si…

Welcome Lokiceratops! It was fun being a part of the big team revealing this huge & ornate new horned #dinosaur to the world. The lower Judith River Formation hosts a high diversity of these dinos— what ever was going on evolutionary rates were high around 78 million years ago

One of our main goals for #SADP2024 is to collect horned dinosaurs from lower Belly River Group. This is a partial skull excavated w Greg Funston & Ryuji Takasaki 高崎竜司 from base of Oldman Fm.

Last day, last site, last 5 mins of #SADP2024 field season in Alberta… I find an articulated theropod dinosaur—looks like an ornithomimid. There’s hindlimb and pelvis going into cemented sandstone block. But have to wait until next year to find out just how much is there…
