FURD is shocked to hear of the death of Uriah Rennie, a Sheffield pioneer who became the first black referee in the Premier League. We worked with Uri on many occasions and remember him with affection and pride, a leader on and off the pitch for many of us. Rest in Peace Uri

On 16 July our Belonging Hub team travelled to Hull for their first 11 vs 11 fixture against our friends from Welcome House Hull. The majority of players from both teams were from refugee & asylum seeker backgrounds. The match ended 4-3 to FURD and was followed by food and drinks
