A famine is declared in Gaza deliberately brought about by Netanyahu, a war criminal, & the world, including our government, a Labour Government, stands to one side & lets children starve. Shameful. Defy Israel, Send in the UK navy with a flotilla of food. theguardian.com/world/2025/aug…

Elements ofthe left appear to have an incurable death wish as if they're more psychologically comfortable being voices crying in the wilderness.

Whether the purists like it or not Jeremy Corbyn and Owen Jones regularly receive rapturous receptions from the hundreds of thousands at national rallies, who would make up the core membership of the new party and do not give a shit about theological disputes on the left

“I’m in awe of Paul McCartney. He’s about the only one that I am in awe of. But I’m in awe of him. He can do it all and he’s never let up, you know. He’s got the gift for melody, he’s got the rhythm. He can play any instrument. He can scream and shout as good as anybody, and he

If Corbyn is marginalised or excluded from new party then supporters will fall away in their hundreds of thousands and people can go back to the position they're most comfortable with - an ineffectual fringe, small fish in a tiny pond.

Those who don't share my point of view don't know what they're talking about is not the basis for a reasoned debate.

Sorry if I misinterpreted your saying Corbyn might be really stupid or potentially has lost the plot implied that you thought he should be marginalised. Ideally there should be a Corbyn/Sultana leadership and after a couple of years JC stands down and ZS leads party into GE.

I thought that till I heard someone at a public meeting talk about 'your party' which made it sound like it wasn't their party. Maybe a slight shift to 'Our Party' which has an inclusive and non-hierarchical feel.

I thought that till I heard someone at a public meeting talking about 'your Party' which made it sound like it wasn't their party. Just remove one letter to 'Our Party' which has an inclusive, non-hierarchical feel to it.

While Trump is a fully committed narcissist megalomaniac Farage has always struck me as a hobbyist. I'm not sure when push comes to shove he even wants to be PM.
