At Day 1 of the GACD Annual Scientific Meeting in Kigali, delegates are already diving into rich discussions, learning, and networking. The day kicked off with an energising networking challenge, followed by an insightful session on “Intervention to Implementation strategies”.

Day 2 of the GACD Annual Scientific Meeting is in full swing! Our CEO Morven Roberts set the tone by highlighting GACD’s impact, especially through the investment from funding agencies to support implementation research. #GACDASM2025

Today, our speakers Uwinkindi Francois NCD Division Manger at Rwanda Biomedical Centre & Rose Gahire, Vice Chairperson of Rwanda NCD Alliance shared perspectives on non-communicable diseases in Rwanda. They highlighted Rwanda’s efforts in NCD prevention and control, highlighting national strategies.

Day 2 featured inspiring presentations from speakers which highlighted the power of collaboration across GACD projects, breaking down barriers and working together towards common goals. #GACDASM2025
