Had a really great morning with Scotland's Singing for Health Network today hearing about Singing for Lung Heath and Sing to Beat Parkinson's training. Was also great to input into future ideas for singing for health training in Scotland. Exciting things are happening! 🎵

"We can't all talk at the same time, but we can all sing at the same time." I love this thought, there's something about ALL being able to contribute to something rather than taking up space as a lone voice or having to be silent that's really wonderful about choral singing.

Looking forward to discussing more about singing for health training at our next Scotland's Singing for Health Network RCS workshop! Peer support and mentorship is so important when working as a practitioner in this field and it will be great to share ideas on building an infrastructure for this.

Did you know that the cells in your cervix & cells in your vocal folds look the same and behave similarly during menopause? At my Singing Through & Beyond Menopause group, singers are given resources to help understand vocal change - some available here: kathleencronie.com/general-5
