On behalf of everyone affected by cancer, Victoria Atkins Wes Streeting Daisy Cooper MP 🔶 will you support our call? #OneCancerVoice

It’s officially #BloodCancerAwarenessMonth and we’re back with our joint #SpotLeukaemia campaign with Leukaemia Care. 🩸 If you experience any of the common signs and symptoms, you should visit your GP and ask for a blood test. 💉 Please RT and help us raise awareness!

Today, we were at Scottish Parliament speaking with MSPs from across the chamber about the issues facing leukaemia patients and our joint #SpotLeukaemia campaign with Leukaemia Care. Huge thanks to Foysol Choudhury MBE MSP for sponsoring our event and to the MSPs who showed their support. 🧡

Great to see Rachel Reeves prioritising the NHS in the budget. With 37% of leukaemia patients diagnosed in emergency settings, reducing survival odds, the 4% real-terms cash boost and pathway reforms are vital for the improvements leukaemia patients urgently need.

Delighted and honoured to attend the World Cancer Day event at the UK Parliament, organised by Leukaemia UK. I will be discussing and promoting research innovation and clinical translation of novel cancer therapies. #WorldCancerDay

We are pleased to see Andrew Gwynne MP committing to improvements for leukaemia in the new National Cancer Plan. Thank you Douglas McAllister MP🌹 for highlighting the toll that this devastating disease has on those affected by leukaemia 🧡

HUGE NEWS! 🎉 My Rare Cancers Bill made fantastic progress today! I'm incredibly proud of what my office has achieved in less than 8 months. I am so grateful for the support Ashley Dalton MP gave to the Bill today. It's great to have someone with lived experience of cancer

Today is Acute Myeloid Leukaemia World Awareness Day. Sadly, if no action is taken, nearly 80% of those diagnosed with AML today will not survive this Parliament. Leukaemia UK Department of Health and Social Care

A breakthrough from our funded researcher Kostas Tzelepis and team! 💡 They've discovered a new target on AML cells - a protein called csNPM1 that’s normally hidden inside of cells, but appears on the surface of some cancer cells. 🔗 Read more: nature.com/articles/s4158…
