We heard this week was a good week to make big announcements about new teammates. We’re thrilled to announce we’ve more than doubled the number of full time staff to help us engage even more young Georgians across the state.

Last year a bill offering up to $300 tax credit for purchase of gun safe storage equipment passed overwhelmingly out of the House, through Senate Finance, and was on the Senate Rules calendar. The state Senate, headed by LG Burt Jones, refused to bring it to a vote, and it died.

The deadliest school shooting in Georgia’s history took place just five days ago. At tonight’s debate, Apalachee High School wasn’t even mentioned. Barrow County and young Georgians deserve so much better. #ChangeForChee
