Great work from Zahra shirzadi, PhD and the Harvard Aging Brain Study team in JAMA Neurology showing that WMH volume may be closely related to amyloidosis & neurodegeneration.

Very happy to share our new work in JAMA Neurology, showing that ApoE4 triggers earlier and faster amyloid-related tau spreading. Thus, Anti-amyloid therapies may need to come earlier in E4 carriers to prevent tau. Huge thanks to Anna Steward and my team! doi.org/10.1001/jamane…
