Japanese cherry trees in full blossom. These were given to Princess Mary in 1922 as a wedding gift by the Emperor of Japan - we’d love Hiroshi Suzuki to visit us one day to see them for himself #japanesecherry #japaneseblossom #northyorkshire

Princess Mary at Goldsborough Hall Thanks to Clare at Goldsborough Hall for this lovely photo of Princess Mary with sons George & Gerald, taken in the panelled library. A rare glimpse of Mary relaxed at home—down to earth, a countrywoman at heart. The room still exists today!
