Yesterday was far and away the best day of my life. It’s true what people say about becoming a parent- there’s just no other experience to really compare it to. In awe of Caitlin, and already in so much love with baby girl.

Touched down in Vegas in time to late-reg the opening 5K HORSE event today of the PokerGO mixed series. First live poker since WSOP, excited to shake some rust off and gamble for a week.

Last tournament today before I head back home to CO for a bit with the 10K HORSE. Playing terrible this trip and not sleeping past 6AM- so of course the shop’s open for 10-10-10s etc. HMU

Been a while since a random hand of poker I wasn’t involved in has elicited a reaction from me, but tip of the hat to Texas Mike on that NL2 hand. Unreal call… that was a beauty in any situation, much less 3handed in the first ever mixed 100k tourney.

Starting to get the 25kfantasy questions- I’m planning on 2-3 short trips this year, probably maxing out at 15-20 events. Subject to change, but unlikely to be very much more volume than that. Draft at your own risk!

Probably an unpopular opinion, but I feel like having a list of bonus players this long is bad for the contest. Clearly going to be a few objectively correct choices based on volume now and those not plugged into the ecosystem just miss out.

If Grinder wins the main event today, shaun deeb needs to do the right thing and take the knee to let him be POY. Winning the PPC and final-tabling the main two different times is already a looney-tunes level accomplishment, winning both in a single year would be an all-timer. 🐐
