Important work by Tommy OβHaren--we were surprised to find that the Drosophila pioneer factor Zelda, despite targeting the zygotic histone genes, doesn't seem to be doing much at the locus!

1/ I am excited to introduce my PhD work with tatsuo, Greg Stephens, and Joshua Shaevitz, on the 3D tracking and analysis of pairwise zebrafish fights! How do zebrafish interact socially to establish dominance? Check out the preprint! biorxiv.org/content/10.110β¦ Thread below!

I think this was my final senior honors defense! Congrats to Michael on his impactful work in the Weiss lab! Bacterial tolerance and heteroresistance- impressive work Emory College Michael will pursue his PhD in Molecular Biology next year Princeton University

Check out our reviewed preprint on elife. doi.org/10.7554/eLife.β¦ Congratulations Maha Rashid , Sarah, Jennifer Isaac and Sonia.

Thanks Susanna Molas and eLife - the journal for the great article highlighting our paper. elifesciences.org/articles/99363 Maha Rashid Jennifer Isaac Sonia

So proud of Taniel Winner on her publication showing individual differences in gait dynamics signatures across walking speeds! A product of our collaboration with Gordon Berman & Neuromechanics Lab is Lena Ting catalyzed by a 'winning' #BME PhD student (now Doctor)! nature.com/articles/s4159β¦

Check out the Bagot Lab latest publication in Nature Neuroscience featuring Eshaan Iyer and me! Here, we identify sex specific roles for nucleus accumbens afferents from the ventral hippocampus and medial prefrontal cortex in encoding aversive information. 1/12 nature.com/articles/s4159β¦
