Another round of amazing pictures taken by Artie Raslich on American Princess Cruises. This is a whale new to the New York area that has wounds as a result from fishing nets but fortunately is freed, healing, and appears to be in a healthy state. #GothamWhale #SaveTheWhales

A whale that has been documented since 2022 known as NYC0260 has been found deceased over this past weekend. NYC0260 was injured last fall but made a great recovery and was documented feeding and breaching this year. But unfortunately the whale was found stranded on the beach.

The worlds oldest orca held in captivity has passed away before she had a chance to return to the ocean. Lolita also known as Toki, has been at Miami Seaquarium since 1970 and was set to be released back into her home waters but unfortunately she never got to go back.
