Thanks for sharing. Brilliant article which completely articulates everything I’ve heard from friends & family struggling with enforced structures and schemes. Should be required reading for Bridget Phillipson

This week I think of my father whom I was too small to ever know but who, as the saying goes, gave his today for my tomorrow. I remember my mother talking about VE Day. Glad that the war was over, she had no husband to welcome home. amazon.co.uk/Born-Right-Tim…

Thanks for sharing. I’m hearing a lot about students in KS3 failing to engage and struggling despite best efforts of their brilliant teachers. Hope mine & Richard’s resource can help!

Amazing performance by Paris Saint-Germain What’s frightening for international football is these young French players - some of whom can’t even get into the PSG first team. #PSGINT

Very apt that my father Peter Gould died on this day in 2008. Although he was (just) too young to be part of D-day, the Glider Pilot Regiment, which he joined shortly afterwards, played a hugely significant role. Today, we remember him & his colleagues. #DDay

Mike Gould It hasn't helped and certainly not teachers fault who are amazing...but it is also just very competitive out there and a lot our old assumptions about some cultural habits enduring forever come what may feel complacent.

Paul Hand-Griffiths Mike Gould Michael Rosen 💙💙🎓🎓 NICE 爷爷 Remember it well. The live performance of Tramp The Dirt Dirt Down after that interview was brilliant. The anger in the way he spat the lyrics out was clear. And totally appropriate.
