🇸🇮🤝🇪🇺 At bilateral meeting before Bled Strategic Forum, Prime Minister Robert Golob and President of the European Council Charles Michel exchanged views on several EU strategic topics, in particular financing of EU's strategic priorities and EU enlargement.

Prime Minister 🇸🇮 Robert Golob expressed gratitude for all the international assistance Slovenia received immediately after the devastating disaster and to those who will continue to help. The response from the EU, our neighbours in the Western Balkans, and NATO was swift.

Even today, a civil protection team from Ukraine, a country itself suffering from war, is providing assistance on the ground.

It is by demonstrating this solidarity that we emphasize how international cooperation truly improves the world, added the Prime Minister, emphasizing that none of the challenges we face will be easy.

We will have to work hard. We will use tons of money, especially for the flood relief and the reconstruction. It will take a lot of time, but we need to find both, courage and wisdom. And we will, in order to demonstrate that yes, we can, build a better world.
