Now you can listen to the coach of the No. 1 Tar Heels discuss with Tommy Ashley and I all you need to know after the ACC Tournament and going into regionals.

It's a beautiful evening for a regional game vs. Oklahoma. Well, I do strongly dislike Oklahoma (heart will always bleed burnt orange). But it's Jason DeCaro vs. Kyson Witherspoon on the bump; it should be a good one here at the Bosh.

Wow, color me impressed. The Tar Heels just hammered six runs on Oklahoma's Kyson Witherspoon in the first frame. Six runs is the most the No. 8 MLB prospect has given up this season as a Sooner. It is also the most he's given up in such a short time since his days at NWF.

Freshman Ryan Lynch exits after 5-plus innings of 2-run ball - he gave the Carolina Baseball what they needed today. Attacked the zone at 93-95, and got a really good slider going in the middle innings. UNC leads 8-2, and here's fellow freshman star Walker McDuffie.

Gavin Gallaher's regional performance was one of the best in Carolina Baseball history. 13 hits, most by a Tar Heel in a regional since at least 1999 10 RBIs, most by a Tar Heel in a regional since at least 1999 3 HR, most by a Tar Heel in a regional since Jay Cox hit four in 2006

Dr. French is making his mark. The junior outfielder, a walk-on turned starter, has become a key contributor for the Tar Heels’ while balancing pre-med and postseason baseball. Feature story on Carter French: 247sports.com/college/north-…

The 2024 Cape League batting champion, Jarren Advincula, is back for his second summer with the Cotuit Kettleers. En route to a 2-1 walk-off victory in 10 innings, Advincula went 2-4 and scored the game-winning run. Grace Nugent spoke with him before his return to Lowell Park:

Significant pick up from the portal for Scott Forbes. Duke catcher Macon Winslow makes his way 8 miles west and joins the Tar Heels. With Luke Stevenson draft bound, Winslow’s addition solidifies the Carolina battery for 2026.
