So incredibly grateful to Penn FOCUS Program for having me as a keynote speaker for the 27th annual Fall Conference. Beautiful energy, invigorating presentations, and awesome connecting—not to mention it being in one of my favorite cities in the world. Until next time, Philly! ✌🏽🦅

Yes indeed!! I absolutely loved being present to celebrate Jennifer S. Myers on winning the Penn FOCUS Program Award! She had us all in tears!!! Loved meeting you @E_King_MD. Your words were so special!

I am so excited to amplify this accomplishment of one of the greatest sponsors and amplifiers around Tom Varghese Jr. MD, MS, MBA, FACS, MAMSE 🇺🇸! We are all so proud of you and excited to see the direction you take Journal of the American College of Surgeons (JACS)! I'm not a surgeon but we are all #TeamYou! Yay Tom!

None of us are surprised, Quinn Capers, IV. Your dedication always shines through. Congrats, cuz!

I’m soooo hyped about this! Congrats to @OhHeyDrKay and the Society of Hospital Medicine team for putting together an amazing LA in the LA area! This is a great way to start my #InternalMedicineDay! ☀️ #SHMleadershipacademy

‘Cause a lot of leaders are birthing parents and some of them need to pump. Whoa. Wait. Not me right now.✋🏾 But let’s just say back in the day when I DID need to pump this wasn’t a thing. Good stuff Society of Hospital Medicine.🤰🏽🥰🍼👶🏽

So last week I was at Penn Medicine for the Penn FOCUS Program Conference. While there, one of the deans shared an excerpt of my EmoryGIM colleague Emily Pinto Taylor’s piece in JAMA. *scrambles to get it on camera* So visibly a mother. 🥹🙏🏽 #allthefeels jamanetwork.com/journals/jama/…

Congratulations to my friend Wendy Armstrong on this new role at CU Department of Medicine! We will miss her at Emory School of Medicine but as my son once said when he was little: “Yay you does not mean boo me.” Or in this instance, us. Excited for you, Wendy!👊🏽💛

After a beautiful, peaceful weekend at our centennial homecoming celebration, our TUSKEGEE UNIVERSITY family was impacted by the epidemic of gun violence. We are fortunate that our TU scholar and family are safe. I appreciate the love and concern. 🥺❤️💛🙏🏽
