Funny thing happened on the way to a ruptured aneurysm…. Slight traction on carotid artery weakened wall, which tore open &bled. Steps to gain control: suction; tamponade; trap proximal +distal; suture repair; no problem. Back to clipping the aneurysm… calm, clarity, confidence
