Good morning! Tomorrow I'm playing rarely heard recordings by The Walker Bros City of Chicago みのり amongst other much loved songs released between the 50's & 80's starting at noon BBC Sussex BBC Surrey & BBC Sounds.

Just heard “Magic Town” by The Vogues on BoomRadioUK. Not a hit in the UK but regularly played on pirate radio such as the “sweet music” station Radio 390 from the wartime fort Red Sands in the Thames Estuary. Here’s the ad from my schoolboy scrapbook.
