Every believer will inevitably produce spiritual fruit in keeping with repentance. It is the outcome of the work of the Holy Spirit. IOW, there is no such thing as a Christian who is not a disciple. There is no such thing as the perpetual carnal Christian.

To preach effectively, the preacher must: 1) Be called to be a preacher. 2) Be obedient to all of Christ's commands in his life. 3) Be faithful to the truth of God's Word in his teaching. 4) Walk in humble dependence upon the Holy Spirit for power.

We are not justified by repentance. We are justified by faith in Christ alone. But all true faith is accompanied by repentance. And all true repentance leads to and follows saving faith. And all saving faith is a repenting faith.
