Friday is National Poppy Day, dedicated to honoring the sacrifices of veterans and active-duty military. The red poppy has been a symbol of remembrance since World War I. We thank the American Legion Auxiliary - Greenbelt Unit #136 for visiting and sharing these Poppies with us.

We celebrated an exciting year of the D.A.R.E. program with the participating students. D.A.R.E. stands for Drug Abuse Resistance Education. This program, taught by officers, aims to teach children to resist peer pressure and lead productive lives free from drugs and violence.
