A row between Greenwich and Newham councils is holding up works to fix the Woolwich Foot Tunnel, where a lift has been broken for nearly two years. Newham has said it is "disappointed" with comments made by Greenwich's deputy leader about the issue. buff.ly/4cZ2zLV

Glad to see meetings have now been arranged to find a way forward for works on the Woolwich foot tunnel - an important means of enabling more active travel. Hopefully we will see progress and necessary agreement with Newham on joint funding can be finalised.
