Holy, and if I might put it this way, shit. This is a STRONG line-up. Also, very big of Danielle de Niese to give up her Mothers Day like this.

Young people of Pimlico Musical Foundation with players from 12 ensemble this morning ahead of Handel in Hackney tonight at Village Underground. Tickets still available: london-handel-festival.com/show/handel-in…

Week 2 promises to be another belter. More world class performers at the heart of the festival. Rachel Podger’s debut performance is one of the gigs I’ve been most looking forward to and ‘Acis’ with La Nuova Musica at StoneNest is going to be a groundbreaking piece of theatre.

The moment we’ve all been waiting for. The mighty Scottish Chamber Orchestra Chorus is (finally) reunited with it’s orchestra after over two years…exiting times ahead for this great group

Week 3 LondonHandelFestival is another corker! Friday is the final of our renowned singing competition with 5 amazing finalists. the concert with LondonHandelPlayers in the foundling museum promises to be one of the standout events in the Festival! See ya there!

This brand new show (work of art) is signpost of our ambitions LondonHandelFestival. 'In the Realms of Sorrow' is truly visceral example of just how powerful and important the performance of Handel’s music remains in today’s fractious and distorted world...very few tickets left..

Pretty proud of this one. Scottish Chamber Orchestra Chorus performs Elijah with our orchestra, principal conductor and knockout soloists BBC Proms. A real red letter day for this magnificent chorus and testament to all we continue to achieve. They are utterly peerless. bbc.co.uk/events/e9r3v2

Am pretty proud of this this one. Performances from world class artists and ensembles including chad edwards, The English Concert, Solomon's Knot 🎻🤘, La Nuova Musica plus an exciting new staged show directed by jack furness. It’s going to be very special.

Thrilled that Festival Voices is back to open the summer series Bold Tendencies with this amazing celebration of communion through song and shared music making. A moment of coming together and shared joy!

“Chorus of Scottish Chamber Orchestra is capable of reaching heights other ensembles can only aspire to.” voxcarnyx.com/2024/06/10/sco…

It's true, the Scottish Chamber Orchestra Chorus are utterly peerless! They perpetually inspire me (and audiences) in their endless commitment to making amazing music. It is a complete privilege to be their Director...(thanks as well to Keith for finding a photo from my trail shift at Halifax!)
