Heading for a terrific finish here as Herefordshire are 122/5 off 37 needing 207, 69/0 at tea but some quality spin bowling is ripping them out.

What a great finish at Brockhampton. Herefordshire won by 1 wkt as the sun set, the winning run scored by Dan Conway in his last MCCA game, strangely I predicted that night happen at the start of the innings. He also got a fivefer. Terrific performance by both sides.

A 3 day minor counties game from Sunday at Sedbergh School was abandoned without a ball being bowled due to the saturated pitch. The game was moved to nearby Neatherfield & they played a 1 day game with no problems. Rumours Lancashire Cricket are playing 2/3 games there next year 🙄

Just a reminder to all young cricketers ... Ben Stokes was 3 off 70 balls before his heroics yesterday ... You are allowed to #Digin & occupy the crease in this era ... Anyway #OnOn ... Time for a Hol 👍👍#Ashes

Absolute carnage. Glamorgan's 174 didn't look like enough on a pitch that made the M4 look rough. Carey 61 tore the bowling apart and Evans 45* finished the job. Probably more than I've seen them get in the Championship for a couple of years too.😆. 🦈🦈🦈#GOSBTS

Final round of MCCA games this week and where better to finish the season than the wonderful Abergavenny ground for Wales v Herefordshire.

Lunch interval here at Abergavenny and Wales are 118/2 off 36, excellent 55* from Matthews the highlight. It does look quite a flat track though.

Two further views of this lovely venue before I leave. Wales are 231/5 (73) at tea with good knocks from Matthews 71, Kolk 66 and Ilyas 45*. Herefordshire have kept things tight on an unhelpful looking pitch for the bowlers.
