Our team (with Maynard Group and Ken Houk) reports the development of the fastest known abiotic Cys bioconjugation enabled by organometallic Au(III) reagents. Rates are over 10^4 M^-1s^-1, which allows for rapid bioconjugation at picoM concentrations! See our preprint for more
