Many students with IEPs feel like they are lacking and/or are not good enough. How many don’t reach for their dreams? When we action the words that everyone has strengths & should have the opportunity to flourish & grow strong, it looks like this. Thanks Dr. Shelley Moore, PhD

An important, compelling story by mikegraeme.bsky.social about a new fair-trade initiative for Cowichan knitters — who are reclaiming their craft away from exploitative companies paying as little as $1/hour for their work making iconic West Coast sweaters. indiginews.com/arts/after-yea…

I’ve been sick & exhausted for weeks now-not COVID. If I stop moving then it’s almost impossible to start moving again so I don’t stop until I’ve space & time. Today I’m trying hard not to do anything on my to do list & not worry about the repercussions. It’s so hard.

I want to leave Matthew Perry’s own words here as the way we remember him. There will never be another like him- he lit up so many hearts in so many ways. Godspeed to Paradise!

Today is #IndigenousVeteransDay, a day to recognize the Indigenous veterans that courageously fought to protect our land and families. We honour and remember their many contributions.

1/3 Today is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. Violence against women and girls remains one of the most widespread human rights violations in the world. For Indigenous #WGT2SGD people, violence is even more prevalent.

“What does it mean for a child to come to school and know that they are loved?” asks Kevin Lamoureux. How do we create spaces in our schools where kids can celebrate their Indigeneity? #bced #trusteeacademy
