We've two very different visiting ships today. Sea Cloud, an elegant sailing yacht with a capacity of 136 pax. She'll shortly be leaving for Hornfleur; and Ambition who'll be here until 6pm. She's on her D-Day 80th anniversary cruise heading to Le Harve with capacity of 1,428 pax

We welcomed two cruise liners at the weekend, the Arcadia and the Ambience, who brought 2,045 and 1,401 passengers respectively. We look forward to seeing both in our waters again later this season. VisitGuernsey

This morning we welcomed Silver Spirit and her 648 passengers to Guernsey. She arrived from St Malo at around 8am and will continue her journey to Southampton late afternoon. VisitGuernsey #LoveGuernsey #CruiseGuernsey

We welcomed Azamara Onward to Guernsey this morning having spent the last 10 days cruising around Spain and Portugal. She has a capacity of 670 passengers and is due to depart for Southampton shortly.

The Havelet Bay Regatta is taking place between 11am and 7pm this Sunday, 1st September. The regatta includes numerous swimming, rowing and sailing events. Mariners not directly involved in the regatta should keep clear of Havelet Bay during this time.

The Seven Sisters RoPax vessel undertook a successful berthing trial in St Peter Port Harbour this afternoon. Her visit was part of ongoing contingency planning arrangements and took place without any disruption to scheduled ferry services.

Beacon Restored! Our Technical Services team has reinstated the Petite Canupe Beacon off NE Guernsey, lost during winter storms. It now stands 13.5m tall, with a new light and 10 stabilising wires drilled into the rock using “rock-eyes.”
