The George Festival kicked off in style this evening at the Kingswood Golf Clubhouse, where the air buzzed with excitement. Invited guests showed their support to this celebration of culture, community, and creativity.

An exciting day of sport has kicked off as part of the George Festival! Rugby and netball are being played in Pacaltsdorp, 5-a-side soccer in Thembalethu and Table Tennis in Rosemoor. These are only some of the activities and there is a lot more in store of the next few days!

The South Cape Association for Visual Arts (SCAVA) is bringing creativity to life at the George Museum with mixed media mini-workshops from 13–20 December 2025. Come join the fun and book your slot . It’s an experience worth having!

In partnership with Martin Myers from MEX Music Exchange and Craig Parks of Jazzathon, our Arts Directorate hosted an Intellectual Property and Music Industry Workshop at the George Festival. This is capacity building, collaboration and creativity!

The George Lights Festival is officially alive with excitement as people stream in, ready to enjoy an evening of celebration. The atmosphere is electric, with local artists entertaining and vendor stalls buzzing as local traders welcome festival goers.
