We’ve been visiting Reno (nice town, btw). An old neighbor from MN happened to be in town, interviewing. Had drinks. Why are these happenstance visits so fulfilling? Seemed like the cosmos or something wanted us to say hello.

Been reliving a lot of old memories as my grandson ships out for MCRD today. A lotta of nerves. I’m soooo proud.

They all looked so happy to be there! They made PI a vacation wonderland!

A friend asked a group of us if any of us ever woke up before 0900. That was so funny to me.

Marines harass each other about Hollywood or PI but we would die for each other. HOWEVER, I DO have a set of nice Oakley sunglasses waiting on that Hollywood grandson of mine once he’s earned the title.

I highly recommend “Tom Horn”, Steve McQueen 1980 western if you enjoy that genre. He died soon after.
