We have learned that Jamal Yahya Pratley, who was hit by a van driver and later died from his injuries while cycling to work in central London on 12 April, was a resident of Hackney. A small group of HCC members attended the installation of the ghost bike for Jamal last night.

Today is World Bicycle Day, but we prefer 'World Cycle Day' to include not just people who use bicycles, but people who use all types of wheels, non-standard and adapted cycles. Happy World Cycle Day!
