Does any other country have a system like this? You get completely rejected by the electorate, but the government just go "no, you're all wrong" and give them an unelected job for life instead.

Context : Patel was sacked, twice, for illegally taking money from Israel for providing them with economic and security data, and over a dozen secret meetings.

Trump announces 25% tariff on India and criticises its trade ties with Russia. Yet, the Indian govt continues to remain silent on the US funded genocide in Gaza. A shameful display of diplomatic weakness and a foreign policy failure of the highest order.

"The GHF method of aid distribution is, by design, inherently dangerous. It lures Palestinians into active war zones to get food. The proof is undeniable. I saw, on numerous occasions, the IDF firing at Palestinians with guns, tanks, mortars, and missiles."

BREAKING: High Court grants permission for a full Judicial Review of the ban on Palestine Action. Hearing in September. It’s also possible there’ll be a stay: an interim suspension of the ban before the JR. We might learn in a few hours, unless there’s a delay on the decision.

I'm attacked here daily about the fact I used to work for Al Jazeera. So I figure it's time I address that criticism head on and make a confession. Here goes: Working there was one of the proudest achievements of my life.

Just prior to israel's banning of UNRWA, there were 750 trucks entering Gaza every day; compare this to the GHF firing squads or the piddly air drops killing people by design. This is not a famine, it's a US/israeli starvation tool, one of hundreds added to Gaza's killing fields.

If you exclusively got your news about Gaza from this guy, you'd have a completely warped view of the dynamics and destruction, and it's all due to his narcissistic obsession with Hamas in the time of genocide.

Gaza activist Yasemin Acar of the Freedom Flotilla was found innocent in court for stating "from the firver to the sea, Palestine will be free." Another loss for Berlin police who even arrested someone in front of court for chanting it

Stage 5 catastrophic starvation is happing in Gaza, and its irreversible. It can only be mitigated, and he is as usual focusing the bulk of his attention on Hamas.
