Today, HAPEN joined IFTIIN and IDF, our SWERC partners in Kismayo & BeletHawa during the graduation of mental health paraprofessionals who have gone through an intensive three months training. Our partner, Jubaland Ministry of Health was present. Thanks to #GCERF for the support.

The Somalia Wellness and Economic Recovery Consortium (SWERC), led by GCERF grantee Horn of Africa Peace Network - HAPEN trains mental health paraprofessionals to tackle stigma around #mentalhealth. 21 graduated paraprofessionals will provide mental health awareness services to school & Madrasa teachers.
