This week our NYU Tandon Disaster Risk Analysis Lab had its first conference as a group. We went to Dublin, Ireland, and actively participated at #ICASP14 at Trinity College. We had five presentations on earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, and cyberattacks affecting infrastructure.

July, 2023: In Phoenix, 19 consecutive days of 110+ degree heat. In NYC, air so dirty children advised not to play outside. In Florida, 90+ degrees...in the ocean. In California, it's 128. In Texas, it hasn't been this hot since...last summer. Not a #HeatWave, a #HeatEmergency
