My co-passenger with the air hostess before takeoff: “Can I get a hot tea?” “Sir, hot beverages can only be served after takeoff as we are not allowed to start the boiler before that” “I travel 3 times a week and I am a Platinum member. Can’t you do this much for me?”

When you plead with a young motorist/biker, who’s driving in the wrong direction and he dismissively tells you to mind your business, give him way and move on, you wonder… Where did our parenting go wrong?

In an ambiguous world, interviewers are looking for line of thought and not the right answer. Teachers need to have conversations instead of lectures and encourage students to build ‘what if’ scenarios. Processes at schools don’t seem to be changing at the pace they should.
