40 years since his tragic death, a poignant memorial service was organised at Flora Fountain for former British Deputy High Commissioner Percy Norris. His daughter Madeleine joined Harjinder Kang, HM Trade Commissioner (South Asia), other diplomats and senior police officials to pay tribute to his enduring legacy.

Deeply saddened by the passing of Ustad Zakir Hussain, a musical genius who brought the tabla to global prominence. I had the privilege of experiencing his magic live last year. His legacy will continue to inspire generations. Heartfelt condolences to his loved ones.
