Saddened to learn of the passing of iconic business leader Ratan Tata whose vision inspired an entire generation. His contribution to the profound UK-India business relationship will be remembered as one of his many legacies. My condolences to his family and Tata Group

On #RemembranceDay today, we held a Service of Remembrance at the Afghan Church in Mumbai. Harjinder Kang laid a wreath, in a solemn tribute to the brave heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. #LestWeForget #WeWillRememberThem



40 years since his tragic death, a poignant memorial service was organised at Flora Fountain for former British Deputy High Commissioner Percy Norris. His daughter Madeleine joined Harjinder Kang, HM Trade Commissioner (South Asia), other diplomats and senior police officials to pay tribute to his enduring legacy.



We’re thrilled to support INDIAN DEAF CRICKET ASSOCIATION (IDCA)🇮🇳 T-10 Women’s Deaf Premier League, celebrating equality, diversity and inclusion in sports. As Chief Guest, Harjinder Kang, HM Trade Commissioner (South Asia) highlighted 🇬🇧’s support in championing this theme besides trying some cricketing shots with the talented players 🏏

HRH The Duke of Edinburgh visited Wankhede Stadium and met the captains of England and Indian cricket teams, ahead of the 5th T20I. HRH also interacted with young winners of IAYP India from across Mumbai, highlighting the positive impact of the award on their lives.




It was a real pleasure to host UK Minister of State for investment Poppy Gustaffson, Dep HC Chandru Iyer and Trade Commsnr Harjinder Kang Hope the FTA leverages the business synergies between the 2 countries.
