Our new paper is out! One unexpected takeaway - knocking out a glycolytic regulator in the heart causes electrophysiological disruptions. Congrats to Kylene Harold and thanks to collaborators Ann Chiao, PhD and Stavros Stavrakis ahajournals.org/doi/10.1161/JA…

On this day 10 years ago I was set to have another open heart surgery. The OKC THUNDER were in the playoffs in Memphis and dropped by. Today, I am blessed to spend my career working on the heart with the cherry on top being able to watch the thunder back in the playoffs.

Great week at #SfN24. I learned a ton but the highlight for me was watching Harris Blankenship represent our lab by presenting his Alzheimer's (and dissertation) work -- great job! Aging and Metabolism Research Program

It’s crazy how talking with a science buddy is simultaneously what’s most likely to move the project forward and the thing that’s least prioritized in our schedule.
