Well wedding season is well and truly upon us! And here we have a lovely letter from Montague Moss Moss Bros. regarding the plans for his wedding at the West London Synagogue in 1955. "Awning is definitely required"! We bet the suits were divine!

On 17 July 1674 the hymn writer, Isaac Watts was born in Southampton. This photo of his statue, inaugurated in Watts Park on 17 July 1861, is from an album belonging to the sculptor, Richard Cockle Lucas.
