George Gascon lost the LA DA race after being nationally spit-roasted for crime, even though it was relatively low and falling. So I was very shocked to look back at the '92 DA race -- when crime was exploding -- and find that nobody talked about crime *at all*. ~link in bio~

Went by one of the old Skid Row Housing Trust buildings that was sold to a developer. Two tenants were locked out because their keycards failed, one with a dog in his room. No staff on site to help for two days. They were all getting evicted because of black mold. (link in bio)
