Great to see the annual Professor Chris Whitty report on Health and Cities published. It was a privilege to co-author the #ActiveTravel in Cities Chapter with Eleanor Roaf & Dr Jo Maher NHS GP. Enjoying reading the other chapters which are jam packed with insights, data and case studies.

Today’s #GMCreativeHealth event embodied the essence and power of creative health & the #GMLiveWell movement. I moved, danced, was moved by a dance, learnt, connected and was reminded of the many different creative ways we can all help each other to live well. And that was

“Making walking and cycling more practical and safer, and access to green space easier and more equitable, would go a long way toward removing barriers to improving physical activity levels and could significantly improve the health of England’s increasingly urban population.”

Our CEO, Andy Taylor, attended and spoke at this meeting earlier in the week. He highlighted the work the #ActivePartnerships network does in places and communities across England, breaking down barriers to sport and physical activity and helping everyone to move more.
