Last year, Holly Hake's Penn Memory Lab-based paper won CogSci Society's Applied Cognition award, and this year, it's Thomas Wilschut's Penn Memory Lab work! I know that these ECRs do great work, but wow, this is amazing. w/ Florian Sense, Andrea Stocco (he/him) @[email protected], University of Groningen, @rug_gmw
Incredible work by Thomas Wilschut !! And another great example of the impact that cognitive models can have in the real world!

He is too modest that add that he earned it Cum Laude, something that is *very* seldomly given in Dutch academia. My compliments, Joost de Jong. It was an honor being guided by you through your PhD project. ;-)
I'll be in Rotterdam next week, attending CogSci Society. If you'd like to meet for a science-chat or just a coffee to catch up, let me know!
With Wouter Kruijne Bernoulli Institute retreat to talk about Heymans, the #opensource #AI tool for #education that we're developing (and using!) at University of Groningen !
