Just listened to Sebastian Gorka DrG on BBC News (UK) #bbcwato - talking to Sarah Montague - he has to be the most arrogant, ignorant bully I have yet heard! The complete absence of humanity as he dismisses the lives of those in #gaza was staggering.

I love books - no great surprise there. But occasionally one pops along that deserves some extra attention ... here is something I wrote about Kate Bradbury's award winning One Garden Against the World. join.scribehound.com/gardening?ref=… Scribehound Gardening

BRISTOLIANS! Sophie Pavelle, Hugh Warwick, & I are at The Small City Bookshop this Thursday eve, talking about the tightrope line between care and control of the environment. Do join us! thesmallcitybookshop.co.uk/event-details/…

Invasive species threaten biodiversity as much as habitat loss, climate change, and pollution. How do we protect endangered native species? Which species do we prioritize? Ecologist Hugh Warwick explores these questions and more in Cull of the Wild. The paperback is out now!

One of the paperbacks of the month ... thank you The Bookseller - Cull of the Wild was a fascinating book to write ... and it is a real delight to find that the reading of it is going well too!! Try and buy from a real shop ... Bloomsbury Wildlife

Just a couple of days left until Hugh Warwick is at Newquay University Centre giving a talk: ‘Why did the hedgehog cross the road?’ Hugh is a celebrated author and ecologist who will be talking all about hedgehogs. Tickets available at: pricklesandpaws.org/shop
