We had a great time getting back on the water with FIU College of Arts, Sciences & Education & FIU Institute of Environment researchers from the Predator Ecology & Conservation Lab & Heithaus Lab for a #shark handling workshop. All sharks were caught and tagged under Florida research permits held by FIU scientists. #SundayFunday #rvANGARI

We loved being part of last week's #shark handling course with FIU College of Arts, Sciences & Education and FIU Institute of Environment. The training participants received will allow them to undertake their own #fieldwork contributing to shark #biology and #conservation 🦈 For photos & info: hubs.ly/Q016bDTY0

We were thrilled to have students from Roosevelt Middle School (@RooseveltMidd10 The School District of Palm Beach County) onboard as #CoastalOceanExplorers last weekend to work side-by-side with FIU College of Arts, Sciences & Education scientists to study & learn about the importance of sharks.
