Helen Metcalfe is currently on stage delivering a talk discussing how to reduce violence and aggression in the emergency care setting. Not just in physical ways but by prioritising relationships with outside professionals as well.


Thank you Emergency Care Confrence and Brian Dolan OBE, RMN, RGN for inviting me to talk to you about a proactive multiagency approach to reducing violence and aggression. Emergency staff are disproportionately affected by work place violence with over half of reported cases occurring in ED.
