After a week of awards giving to outstanding materials chemists Royal Society of Chemistry #MC16 I am honoured to receive Imperial College London President’ s Medal for outstanding research team. I am lucky and privileged to collaborate with so many outstanding scientists across UK and the globe!

What a great day exhibiting our exciting technology on plastic up-cycling at #IP4U today! Great team work Matthew Bidwell and Zamaan Mukadam! Thanks all from Imperial Enterprise helping us make this happen and everyone stopped by and chatted with us! Magda Titirici Ifan Stephens

Thanks to #ImperialLates2023 for the opportunity to showcase Magda Titirici research on upcycling waste to advance materials for energy storage. And thanks to Brendan Foster for the great pictures

The work of Benz is already online at JPhys Materials , he studied different single atom - Cu tandem electrocatalysts configurations and its impact on the CO2 reduction performance. Check it out! doi.org/10.1088/2515-7…

A great pleasure to spend a warm winter visiting Prof. Germano Tremiliosi-Filho and Dr. Vinicius del Colle at USP, together with Helen Tyrrell. Full of #electrochemistry, good food, thunder storms and colourful plants! Big thanks to University Global Partnership Network for funding the collaboration!

Spend a nice day on Friday visiting the #Sirius synchrotron inside CNPEM, learning about the great science and beamline capabilities being developed here. Many thanks Pablo Sebastián Fernández for hosting us! And glad to see the Xmas vibe here in the south sphere 🎄🧑🎄Helen Tyrrell

Thanks to Jiyizhe Zhang for the comprehensive introduction to the world of machine learning for (soon to be electrochemical) process optimization. And thanks to VALUED for making this collaboration between Prof. Lapkin's group and Magda Titirici possible

🏅Helen Tyrrell (Imperial College London) receives a Best Poster Prize from ACS Publications at #MATSUS24 nanoGeConferences presenting ‘Electro-Oxidation of Plastic Waste-Derived Ethylene Glycol for the Production of High Value Chemicals and Hydrogen’ Congrats!🎉 👉 nanoge.org/MATSUS24/home

Congratulations Helen Tyrrell for winning a poster price #MATSUS24 and to Mengnan Wang and Zhenyu Guo for giving two great talks in #GENBATT symposium!

Our time in Sweden has come to an end! (For now). Great week meeting academic and industrial partners at Stockholm University , Chalmers University of Technology and KTH Royal Institute of Technology . Very grateful to Magda Titirici and @wise_materials for making this happen and to our fantastic hosts (1/2)

Come join us on 24 June and hear about the exciting research on energy conversion and waste valorisation. We have excellent line-up of speakers in the programme. Register on the webpage before 9 June! IAS Surrey University Global Partnership Network ias.surrey.ac.uk/event/towards-…

On August 23, we held the AIMR Mini-workshop titled "Electrolysis for Sustainable Future". Prof. Titirici Magda Titirici, an overseas PI visiting AIMR, and five members of her group gave talks. Active discussions followed, particularly focusing on the field of electrocatalysis.🎙️

One month in Japan - part 4. #WasteEng2024 Thank you Ange Nzihou for the plenary invitation, We did enjoyed the conference very much!Wonderfull seeing Audrey Moores CREATE SEED Carol Lin cityHK, Diana Lopez Universidad de Antioquia Luz Sanchez Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha Magnus Berggren, tokoro_lab Christine Luscombe

One month in Japan- part 5. Visit to Prof. Masaru Watanabe ‘ s lab Tohoku University to see amazing battery and PET recycling facilities and research and the urban group! Thank you for showing us around!

One month in Japan- part 6. WPI-AIMR, Tohoku Univ. Nishihara - Magda Titirici collaborative workshop on sustainable electrocatalysis being honoured by the presence of Lee R. Johnson also on a collaborative visit at the same time. Great talks and discussions! Thank you for the hospitality

One month in Japan - part 7. Visiting 東京大学 | UTokyo Prof Kazuhiro Takanabe ‘ s lab on Catalysis for Energy Conversion to learn about #GteX program in water electrolysis and and learn about fascinating 2D semiconductors from Vincent Tung. Forgot to take pictures with them ☹️.

One month in Japan - part 8. Visit to NIMS (物質・材料研究機構) - Research Centre for Energy and Environmental Materials ( Green) . Thank you Ken Sakaushi for being a great host and in the absence Takuya Matsuda . Was nice to give a talk here again!

One month in Japan - part 9. Our final scientific visit was to SANKEN - Osaka University (Japan) to one of our closest collaborator Yu Katayama with an amazing joint workshop on electrocatalysis and great discussion for further collaborations. Thank you for having us again!!! Will return next year!

One month in Japan- part 10. Finally it was just so amazing to spend time with Hui Luo Helen Tyrrell Angus Pedersen Zamaan,HanziYe and Enrico in Japan doing science and fun and also to see former PhD student Shiori and of course Hiro from good old Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces !
