CUPE has communicated that they will proceed with their planned strike. As such, YRDSB school will be closed to students on November 4, 2022.

CUPE has provided notice that their withdrawal of service will continue, York Region District School Board schools will be closed to students until CUPE members return to work. Students will learn remotely. PARENTS DO NOT send your child to school until further notice.

CUPE has announced that the planned political protest will end on Monday, November 7. As a result, all YRDSB schools will reopen to students and transportation services will operate on Tuesday, Nov. 8. If your child is not attending, please report their absence.

Grade 6, 7, 8 students participated in a presentation on the Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center Tour for Humanity bus to learn about #Antisemitism, The #Holocaust. They also recognized its lessons of tolerance, and how to be a hero in present day society.
