This one took a long freaking time to finally evolve. (And next up is Kubfu which is gonna take even longer)… I do wish for all the work this evolved form was a bit stronger. 4000cp would’ve been nice.

I get the "When is there gonna be a good One Piece game??" discourse ... I really do. *HOWEVER*... One Piece: Grand Battle! 3 was/is an F'ing awesome game. It's Power Stone, but with One Piece characters. The graphics might seem dated now, but it *IS* a great One Piece game.

Gonna be a massively eventful next few days for me. Expect a big post from me pretty much every day from now through the weekend. First one coming in a few hours! 😁

With all my work finished, today marks my last day at Telecom Animation & the TMS building in Nakano. It was great working here this past year. I’ll post updates about what I worked on very soon! Now, I am onto other projects! Updates on my next location… also coming soon!

Today I got to visit Toho Studios for… something I still can’t talk about! 😅 (but will very soon! By the end of the month) This is where they filmed classics like Godzilla and Seven Samurai! Truly a surreal experience! 😁

Been a while, Mitaka.

Last year I directed the 2nd season opening for the “Four Knights of the Apocalypse” anime. Today, there was an “Uchiage”(a completion party for the staff) where I finally got to meet Nakaba Suzuki, the original creator and manga artist of “The Seven Deadly Sins.” 😁

Today I got to see UVERworld live again, this time at Tokyo Dome. And yes, they did play “MMH,” the opening theme to “Four Knights of the Apocalypse” anime. 😁

I’ve decided to reread the entire Naruto manga. It’s been over 20 years since I saw the early story arcs and there’s no doubt some details I’ve forgotten. I’m not planning on making a ton of posts about it, but any comments I do have I’ll post as a thread right here.

I started this reread a few days ago and am already a hundred chapters in. It’s about how I remember it, though it’s interesting rereading the opening arcs knowing the various revelations that come later.

There are some character details I did forget though. Like, I totally forgot about Ino’s possession/sleep powers. Don’t blame me too much though… Ino (along w/ a lot of characters tbh) was really never used throughout the series. She just fell into the background at some point.
