New Paper Alert! APA Journals In this longitudinal study, we examined the between- and within-person associations between food and alcohol disturbance (FAD), alcohol use, and negative consequences. See below for findings! psycnet.apa.org/record/2024-49…
Really interesting new paper in Addiction Journal looking at the impact of pubs adding an alcohol-free beer on draught. Standard beer sales fell by 4-5%, but there was no evidence of a fall in total sales revenue for the pubs. doi.org/10.1111/add.16…
New paper out today! tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.10… Katie Berry Adrian Bravo
Exciting news! 🎉 My advisor, Dr. Ellen Yeung, will be reviewing applications for the Applied Social Psychology program at GWU Psychological and Brain Sciences. If you are passionate about researching alcohol use or chronic pain, this is a great opportunity. Please share with your students/network!
When I asked my health psychology class if they engage in FAD behaviors, I was surprised to hear that this was a common practice among college students. Grateful to work with great FAD experts (Katie Berry and Luke Herchenroeder) on this important work.
For anyone interested in assessing food and alcohol disturbance, Dr. Alison Looby, Katie Berry, and I published a new scale that incorporates all possible timeframes of FAD and captures the motives underlying FAD behaviors. Check it out! rdcu.be/ezDUI
