On 25 Apr 1916, Liam Mellows (📷) led 12 Volunteers to the RIC barracks in Clarinbridge Co. #Galway. Six managed to gain entry but were immediately caught in crossfire as the police upstairs opened fire on the six who remained outside. #IrishHistory More: irishheritagenews.ie/ric-barracks-u…
