Do I need #surgery for my #hernia? The aim of surgery is to repair your hernia and prevent it from recurring. There is a good chance that any pain or discomfort you have related to your hernia will markedly improve and indeed, go away completely.

#Insurance If you have a #hernia, then sometimes travel insurance, or continuing in certain employment, e.g. offshore, abroad can be problematic. This is not an uncommon reason for a patient to request surgery even if the hernia is not causing much in the way of symptoms.
